New leadership for District 46 representing the people not a political party
I was born in St. Paul MN in 1977. Lucky for our family my father got us to Texas in 1986 when 3M expanded to the Austin area. We settled in Georgetown TX. Growing up in the area I have seen tremendous change in our community. From a population of only 465 thousand in 1986 to the explosion of the Austin area to over 2 million today.
My wife and I live in Pflugerville now with our dog Gracie and our cat Socks. We have lived in the district for over 15 years. In recent years we have seen an eruption in property value in the area. I fear that with rising taxes in the area we are going to see many native Austinites forced out of our community. Controlling the rise in property taxes is my top priority and is the primary reason I feel the call to run for Texas House district 46.
